Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

The KYC (Know Your Customer) initiative is a major project in the financial sector, focusing on verifying client identity to prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities. It involves collecting and analyzing identifying information such as legal names, addresses, dates of birth, and government-issued IDs before allowing account openings or financial transactions.

Expected competences and knowledge

• At least 1 year of AML/KYC experience
• Advanced English skills (reading and writing)
• Scandinavian language skills are a plus
• Relevant university degree (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law, Compliance)
• Analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills across business levels
• Meticulousness, responsibility, attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Data-driven decision making skills

Responsibilities

• Analyzing transaction monitoring alerts and KYC customer profiles
• Gathering data from internal systems
• Assessing and deciding on material for closure or escalation
• Documenting and concluding on materials
• Using SOPs and work instructions to update Excel, SharePoint, and other tools
