Do you want to work on innovative projects in a collaborative environment? If yes, this role is for you! The Developer Experience (DevX) Standards and Controls function is creating a platform for control owners and development teams to manage and view their compliance with a range of software development controls. You will work on Kotlin and Java-based web applications and APIs within one of several applications or PoCs, depending on your experience and fit. All solutions are built using a microservice architecture and modern coding techniques. Sounds like your kind of challenge? Your responsibilities Collaborate with developers, testers, and the wider organization to build and run products. Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end features as per backlog/priority (simple UI framework, not strictly front-end development). Work closely with the engineering team to design and launch new features. Proactively resolve customer issues and respond to feature requests. Build APIs and microservices that solve impactful business problems. Deliver rapid iterations in an agile CI/CD environment. Participate in peer reviews and test others’ code through automated test scripting. Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process. Our requirements Strong experience in Kotlin (or Java with willingness to learn Kotlin). Proficiency in at least two or three of the following: API development, SQL/databases, HTML/JavaScript. Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills. Experience working in Agile environments, including Jira and Confluence. Understanding of Microservices architecture. Good interpersonal skills. English proficiency (B2). Required: Kotlin, Java, API development, SQL, HTML/JavaScript, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence. Optional Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Background in Systems Administration across Linux/AIX/WAS platforms. Optional: Jenkins, Test automation.
