about-project :
The project builds a multi-platform desktop application that helps large organizations manage developer tools such as IDEs and plugins. It focuses on delivering a seamless user experience, enabling version control and configuration management at scale.
The team consists of 4 engineers on our side and over 5 on the client side, collaborating closely through code reviews. They bring strong experience in developer tooling and maintain high engineering standards across a distributed setup.
responsibilities :
Develop and maintain a multi-platform desktop application using Kotlin and Kotlin Compose
Work with desktop environments, ensuring smooth performance across platforms
Handle multithreading and asynchronous systems, including Kotlin Coroutines
Integrate the application with web services and manage secure interactions with OS-level security enclaves
Collaborate closely with a distributed team through code reviews and shared development practices
Contribute to building a platform that helps organizations manage developer tools at scale
Participate in technical discussions, propose improvements, and support cross-team initiatives
Manage your tasks independently while maintaining high-quality engineering standards
requirements-expected :
Write clean, efficient code in Kotlin and Java 17+ for desktop applications
Apply knowledge of desktop environments to ensure cross-platform compatibility
Work confidently with asynchronous systems and multithreading
Understand and apply OS-level security concepts when integrating with web services
Communicate clearly in English and collaborate effectively in a distributed team
Take initiative to improve technical processes across teams
