Korean Localization Games Tester – Warsaw (Freelance)

Join TransPerfect as a Game Localization QA Tester with native Korean language skills to support testing localized games across a variety of titles, from indie projects to AAA games.

Position Overview

The Game Localization QA Tester will work as part of a testing team to identify and resolve localization problems, write detailed bug reports, perform regression testing, and ensure linguistic quality across multiple gaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, isolate, document, and fix localization/linguistic issues and verify fixes using test tools or databases.
• Follow and complete Test Cases/Checklists to perform targeted testing and execute relevant testing processes.
• Write bug descriptions based on company standards and client specifications.
• Apply knowledge of user preferences in target markets to influence the client’s product.
• Proactively look for gaps in test coverage.
• Collaborate with partner teams to test the product.
• Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on target market knowledge.
• Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Regular game player with passion for the video games industry.
• Native level of Korean (testing language), including excellent spelling and grammar.
• Good command of English (instructions, testing documentation, team communications will all be in English).
• High‑school diploma or equivalent required (a degree in computer science, game design, or related field is a plus).
• Excellent attention to detail, can‑do attitude, and strong work ethics.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of mobile, tablet, and browser tools.
• Team‑player who works well in a collaborative environment.
• Positive attitude and drive to thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative setting.

Bonus if You Have

• Availability to start immediately.
• Game testing experience.
• Experience with software localization or quality assurance in the video game industry.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies.
• Experience with game localization.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, ADO, Bugzilla) or CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).

Working Conditions

This is a mandate contract position. Applicants must have the right to work in Warsaw and will be required to provide supporting documentation. This is an onsite role with core business hours (Mon–Fri, 8 hours per day) at the Warsaw office; candidates must be based in or commute to Warsaw.
