Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives within the knowledge management space and manage operational knowledge using engaging and innovative techniques
  • Research and implement a new knowledge management system that improves information organization and drives higher user engagement and satisfaction
  • Identify, classify, and track all operational knowledge, including job aids, SOPs, policies, guides, training materials, scripts, email templates, etc.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure knowledge is accurate and concise, editing, adding, or removing information as needed
  • Consult cross‑functional teams to ensure requirements and practices are clearly documented
  • Design and implement cross‑functional knowledge approval processes
  • Manage ongoing maintenance of all operational knowledge and drive continuous improvement
  • Identify and track other knowledge management needs (technical writing, instructional design, etc.)
  • Mentor and lead employees supporting knowledge management initiatives
  • Leverage technology to provide realistic references to the website and app, such as emulators and simulators

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Information Science, Journalism, Library Science, or Management and/or industry‑approved knowledge management certifications preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in knowledge management, learning and development, content creation, or other relevant areas
  • Experience owning small to medium‑sized projects
  • Experience collaborating and owning aspects of large‑scale projects
  • Experience acting in a leadership capacity in the workplace
  • Strong passion for learning and implementing knowledge management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally; proactive and persuasive in working with other teams
  • Experience working in fast‑paced environments and implementing high‑quality solutions quickly
  • Ability to act autonomously while navigating new and ambiguous business initiatives
  • Excellent facilitation, program management, and communication skills
  • Experience using KM & Documentation platforms such as Confluence, Readme, Documentum, etc.
  • Experience in a regulated environment within financial services or related functions preferred, but not required
