Overview

We’re currently supporting the recruitment for a European FMCG food group - a well-established, stable organization with strong brands and long-term ambitions in the Polish market.

This is a role for someone who wants to have real impact, enjoys working with key retail partners, and values a healthy, normal working atmosphere – without corporate drama or unrealistic pressure, but with space to aim high and do things better.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships within organized retail. The client portfolio may evolve over time, but it includes:

  • Discount chains
  • Hypermarkets and supermarkets

You will work closely with internal teams (sales support, marketing, supply chain) to develop customer strategies, negotiate terms, and turn ideas into commercial results.

What this role is really about

  • Owning and developing key retail accounts in a competitive FMCG environment
  • Preparing and leading negotiations (annual agreements, promotions, listings)
  • Building long-term, partnership-based relationships with buyers
  • Bringing ideas to the table – and having the space to implement them
  • Working towards ambitious but realistic goals, without micromanagement

Who they are looking for

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager (or similar) in FMCG
  • Practical knowledge of organized retail (discounts and/or hyper/supermarkets)
  • A proactive mindset – someone who wants to do things, not just maintain the status quo
  • Commercial thinking, ownership, and good negotiation skills
  • Appreciation for a down-to-earth, respectful working culture

This is not a role for someone who needs constant pressure to perform. It is a role for someone who is internally motivated, curious, and enjoys building smart solutions.
