What will you work on?

Key Account Manager is responsible for formulating sound business plans, maximizing opportunities, managing risk, delivering on profitability goals, developing effective long‑term business relationships, and exceeding customer expectations.

How will you create impact?

  • Developing bi‑annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs
  • Deliver product presentations, business proposals and ad plans to customers on time
  • Understand customers’ timelines and proactively provide them with all information and materials required to make decisions and manage business well
  • Work with support team to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required, at minimum on a monthly basis
  • Timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessary
  • Manage client‑specific budget
  • Analysis of sell‑through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk
  • Clear and efficient communication with customers; fast solutions to challenges
  • Work in a team environment, providing feedback to your account management team
  • Develop innovative sales and marketing‑led account plans that will maximize Spin Master’s performance within each account
  • Coordinate trade marketing and marketing activity within your accounts to ensure delivery of planned volume, distribution and profit targets
  • Maximize account profitability through strategic business planning including delivery of volume, revenue and margin and creative promotional work and good use of data to provide category solutions
  • Work closely with accounts to gain joint agreement on objectives for sales growth whilst managing each account selections process
  • Negotiate at senior level to ensure Spin Master maximizes the advantage of long‑term supply agreements and optimizes all elements of the marketing mix
  • Accurate forecasting and working closely with the planning team to ensure stock is delivered to accounts as required

How will you fit into the team?

The Key Account Manager reports to Local or Regional Sales Manager.

What are your skills and experience?

  • Business studies with main focus on Sales and Marketing or adequate professional experience
  • 2+ years national sales and account management experience
  • Retail, Consumer Product Goods experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing a business portfolio with national toy retailers highly welcomed
  • Customer‑driven approach—a go‑getter attitude
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
  • Demonstrated organization, planning and communication skills
  • Goal‑oriented to achieve targets through self‑motivation, persistence, determination
  • Ability to create and maintain business presentations and excel files, read POS reports
  • Fluent English
  • Ambitious, determined, results‑oriented, convincing, extroverted with strong presentation skills
