Key Account Manager Channel CS
Job Purpose
The Key Account Manager (KAM) plays a vital role in establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients to drive business growth. This position is responsible for developing strategic activity plans for major accounts and facilitating collaboration within the sales operations process. The KAM will also manage negotiations and secure product portfolio deals to maximize revenue in partnership with stakeholders.
Key Tasks:
- You will develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- You will create and implement yearly Key Accounts activity plans for major clients, reinforced by product training and customer events.
- You will participate with other Key Account Managers and sales management in the development of sales strategies for national accounts, identifying target accounts and opportunities.
- You will continuously seek new business opportunities through market visits, customer meetings, and competitor analysis to achieve revenue targets.
- You will actively contribute to planning and budgetary control by forecasting and achieving budget selling prices and quantities.
- You will facilitate regular team discussions to address challenges, optimize performance, and promote knowledge exchange among the KAM Community.
- You will support the Sell-in Lead in preparing and executing CP campaigns.
- You will participate actively in the annual marketing plan, aligning business strategies with sales of associated brands and channels.
- You will negotiate and close contracts with customers to ensure mutual satisfaction and business success.
- You will monitor market trends and customer needs to recommend effective solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Agriculture or Business University Degree.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in the agro industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in sales and account management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a focus on customer needs.
- Ability to build effective external relationships and execute business planning.
- Advanced product and technical knowledge.
- Strong initiative, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent teamwork, presentation, and training skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in sales performance analysis and reporting.
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
