This role focuses on achieving revenue targets through specialized sales of a designated product group, developing and executing a Strategic Sales Business Plan, and building relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales and market growth.
Job Summary
The Key Account Leader is responsible for the achievement of revenue results as designated in the annual Sales Plan. Responsibilities include design, development, coordination, and execution of a Strategic Sales Business Plan to prospect, generate leads, plan sales and marketing strategies, deliver pre- and post-sales support, train and develop customers, and build relationships with key individuals to maximize sales and market penetration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver the annual sales target outlined in the annual Sales Plan
- Develop and maintain understanding of the assigned product group related to features, functionality, pricing, warranty, and other attributes
- Collaborate with other company functions to provide full pre- and post-sale support and warranty the most effective solutions
- Engage with peers to leverage skills, identify opportunities, and pursue a win-win outcome
- Lead or participate in special projects and additional responsibilities as requested by Sales Management
- Deliver training on the range of connected and networked products to distributor sales teams, including applications, features, functionality, pricing, and service requirements
- Establish and manage reference accounts and coordinate pricing, installation, and support with key stakeholders and decision makers
- Act as project manager driving technology evaluation and delivering sales-generating technical solutions in large opportunities or installations
- Guide product development by conveying customer requirements related to assigned products
- Advise on competitive products and services to support market penetration
Education and Experience
University degree, combined with sales experience in the Medical Equipment industry/Capital Investment milieu.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven track record of meeting sales goals and quotas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with minimal guidance
- Knowledge of the assigned product line, selling strategy, partners, and competitors
- Experience presenting to large, cross-functional and/or multi-level audiences, including senior executives
- Understanding of workflow implications and benefits of assigned products
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues for the full range of products
- Experience training, motivating, coaching, and influencing peers and team members
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel at least 80%
- English proficiency (read/write/speak)
- Unrestricted driver’s license
