About the role

The purpose of the role is to lead Haleon’s sales and customer marketing strategy and implementation in Pharmacy, while ensuring the achievement of sales, profit, cash, market shares and in-store targets. Responsible for the leadership and development of a highly engaged team of KAMs.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Visible and hands-on leader of the channel, creating a high-performance culture and an engaged team that collaborates cross-functionally in an efficient manner.
  2. Ensure deep understanding of the channel dynamics, maximize the potential of the accounts, monitor competition and category performance and use insights to drive tactical and strategic thinking.
  3. Oversee the development of the annual customer plans and provide regular monitoring and control of implementation.
  4. Develop/Execute a strategic customer investment grid and action plan to optimize ROI.
  5. Set the overall account strategy, including trade agreements, promotional strategy, in-store benchmarks, d-comm expansion, commercial and financial performance, customer marketing.
  6. Identify opportunities based on customer insights and work cross-functionally towards translating them to actionable category proposals.
  7. Responsible for the build and execution of the Joint Business Plans.
  8. Monitor competition and identify risks/opportunities.
  9. Responsible for the forecasting cycle.
  10. Externally build a network in the industry and internally collaborate across Haleon’s teams to share best practices, inspire, challenge, and develop the sales organization.
  11. Drive the capabilities of the team.

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales Management, including KA and Field sales management.
  2. Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  3. Winning sales skills: strategic planning, insights mining, relationship management, account strategy.
