Junior Transport Specialist
DFDS invites you to join our team as a Junior Transport Specialist. This role plays a key part in our critical transport network that serves communities across Europe and beyond.
About the Role
As a Junior Transport Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring transport orders and daily communication with clients in Europe. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with transport companies, DFDS’s office, and external client offices across the continent.
Your Duties And Responsibilities
- Daily communication with incoming customer inquiries via email and phone.
- Monitoring the logistics chain agenda.
- Editing and verifying transportation plans through Europe.
- Handling customs export and import documentation.
- Generating reports for the Local Business Unit.
- Executing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
About You
We seek candidates who:
- Have experience or an educational background in logistics.
- Are willing to work flexible weekly afternoon and night shifts (16:00‑00:00 and 00:00‑08:00, with around two weekend shifts per eight weeks).
- Understand the critical importance of temperature-controlled transportation.
- Possess a strong command of English (at least B2; Spanish is an asset).
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Can foster productive relationships with both customers and team members.
- Display meticulous attention to detail with transport documentation.
- Have a keen interest in advancing their career within logistics.
- Speak Polish fluently.
