Junior Trade & Shopper Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)
Job Description
This is an 18-month fixed‑term role.
Your Role
- Growing key categories in pure online players and traditional channels.
- Building expertise in a channel based on shopper insights, market data, best practices, and stock & sell‑out data from retailers to identify the biggest growth opportunities.
- Leading the creation of the trade activation plan (channel strategy) for key categories, taking into account channel specifics and a tailor‑made approach.
- Constant monitoring of Philips in‑store position (in‑store excellence) online and offline, setting improvement targets in each trade area and driving actions to close gaps.
- Evaluating all trade activities and events to optimise investment and achieve the best ROI.
- Partnering and supporting Key Account Managers in selling the concept of activities to retailers via trade argumentation (how Philips activation is growing the category) and ongoing contact with buyers.
- You will be responsible for supporting the Mother & Child Care category.
Your Team
The role will interact closely with the relevant Key Account Manager for the respective channels to understand business objectives and develop assets. The candidate will also be expected to work regularly with digital and BTL agencies to execute and optimise the plans, with the corporate digital and marketing teams for specialist support in specific areas.
You Are The Right Fit If
- Have a Bachelor or Master degree.
- Have at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in trade marketing.
- Have very strong analytical, planning and organisational skills.
- Have strong business acumen.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
- Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Are fluent in English.
- Have an active driving licence (B category).
