Offer Description

The main scope of duties

  • Conducting scientific research and implementation activities in the field of refractory materials.
  • Investigating the causes of corrosion of refractory materials.
  • Scientific development through publications and active participation in conferences related to refractory materials.
  • Participation in conducting research work and expert studies in the field of refractory materials.
  • Preparation and implementation of national and international research projects.
  • Higher education degree (Engineer’s or Master’s) or technical education in the field of materials engineering, physics, or geology.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written, at A2 level.

Additionally, the candidate must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Participation in at least one scientific or industry conference, or a specialized training course.
  • Authorship or co-authorship of at least one scientific or popular science publication, industry reports, or analyses prepared for entities in the socio-economic environment.
  • Experience in carrying out research and development (R&D) activities, e.g. participation in an R&D project or collaboration on analyses, reports, or technical studies.

Additional assets:

  • Higher education in the field of materials engineering and ceramics.
  • Category B driving licence.

Working circumstances

  • Remuneration will be determined in accordance with the Employee Remuneration Regulations, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials.
  • Additional benefits: social benefits and others will be determined in accordance with the Employee Remuneration Regulations, Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials and with Project Regulations.
  • Employment contract for a trial period of 3 months (with the possibility of further employment).

The job title is consistent with the nomenclature specified in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 27 March 2019 on the list of positions for which employees are employed at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Łukasiewicz Centre and institutes operating within the Łukasiewicz Research Network, as well as the qualifications required to hold these positions. The announcement is addressed to all candidates who meet the recruitment criteria.

Form of submitting the documents

Applications received after the specified deadline will not be considered.
