We are expanding our teams in the Space sector to take on Earth Observation space mission projects .

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

At GMV you will form part in Earth Observation space mission projects for the maintenance, development, integration and validation of operational processors.

Your tasks:

• SW development (Design, algorithm coding, and validation).

• Satellite Earth observation data processing projects at L0/L1/L2 levels for different instruments: optical, LiDAR, radar, radiometers, spectrometers.

• Application development in this field

• Implementation of scientific algorithms

• Validation and verification techniques

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for junior software engineers with background and interest in:

• Algorithms for Scientific Data Processing

• C/C++ & GNU toolset

• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux

• Software Systems Engineering

• Scripting (e.G Python, bash)

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

• Configuration Management systems (SVN, GIT...)

• Profiling (Valgrind or similar)

• Eclipse

• Continuous integration systems (Jenkins or similar)

Hybrid working model and 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside your usual geographical area.
