Our IDE supports complex tech stacks, AI challenges, and large-scale hackathons with thousands of participants. Now, were looking for talented developers to help take our online IDE to the next level.
As a developer at Sphere Engine, youll be working on all aspects of our service - from the backend and docker-based execution engine to the online IDE and APIs. You will get to know our product deeply and participate in its evolution and deployment. And the most fun part - you will need to learn new stuff all the time, and you will get paid for that.
Sphere Engine was founded by programmers, our clients are programmers, and our end-users are developers too. If you love programming and are friendly and open-minded, we want to hear from you!
Recruitment process:
- Introductory phone call - we will tell you about ourselves, and we want to find out what you are looking for in your new job. We will also answer any questions you might have.
- A short task - we will ask you to write some code to find out how you think.
- Technical screening - we will talk about your experience and the code you wrote and want to hear your thoughts about web development and problem-solving in general. And we hope you bring even more questions with you!
- The decision - if were a match, thats it!
Must have:
- 1 year of experience in web development or 3+ years of education in Computer Science or another engineering field of study
- You know Python well
- SQL
- Git
- Good debugging skills
- You have algorithmic skills or experience with hackathons, or you can show off your ambitious private projects
- Knowledge of the bug/task tracking methodology and systems
- English (communicative level) and Polish (optionally)
Nice to have:
- Django, Linux & Bash
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with cloud (AWS or others)
- JavaScript & CSS & HTML
- React
- PHP
- Interest in algorithms, competitive programming or developer tools
