Job Summary
The Junior Programme Coordinator is expected to support the TMF&S Head and Treasury Forecasting Programme Director in delivery of the agenda for the entire Treasury Modelling and Forecasting platform. The successful candidate will be supporting the TMF&S projects in adherence to agreed timelines, companys quality standards and budget. He/ She will support TMF&S Leads in set up of robust organizational structure and be adaptable to ever-changing dynamics of team function, leading end to end PL local governance / operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support TMF&S Leads in set up of robust organizational structure and be adaptable to ever-changing dynamics of team function, leading end to end PL local governance / operations.
- Coordinate preparation of TMF&S communication updates on quarterly, bi-annual basis. Formulate strategies on how to best socialise information to global Treasury ensuring key messages are digested i.e.: conduct appropriate team engagement by bulletin preparation and issuance.
- Performing monthly or quarterly financial reviews to ensure that budgets are within tolerance and fully reconciled between cost plans documented vs. RF / QPR financials. Proactively challenge costs, resource & budget requests ensuring Banks spending is economical and fully rationalized.
- Drive standardisation of TM&F project delivery as well as support TM&F project life cycle - requirements gathering, user testing and stakeholder communication.
- Centrally coordinate recruitment for TMF&S team. Define, socialise, and ensure managers adhere to best hiring practices including interview frameworks and governance for hiring approvals. Work closely with Talent Acquisition team to tap into all possible avenues to target new recruits e.g., university fairs, partner with new recruitment agencies etc.
- Coordinate the administrative events i.e.: local committees, business visits, volunteering events.
Skills and Experience
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in working in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to synthesize technical information and translate into a story that is easily digested by non-technical audience.
- Excellent knowledge of Power Point and very good Excel.
- General understanding of Treasury, Asset and Liability Management and Liquidity Risk Management functions.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
- Corporate maturity. Experienced in engaging effectively with senior stakeholders within Treasury and Finance.
- Self-starter with the tenacity, drive and organisation needed to manage around obstacles.
- Discrete and able to professionally handle confidential matters.
- Display can-do attitude and readily steps up to new challenges in a pragmatic manner.
- Adaptable in fast-changing, unpredictable situations and able to communicate such to stakeholders.
- Well organised with ability to manage risks and proactively plan to overcome these and minimize impact to delivery timelines for respective deliverables.
