Junior People & Culture Business Partner

Main purpose of the position:

As Junior P&C Business Partner, you will play a key role in the delivery of effective and efficient services to our leaders and employees in ISS Group Functions. We have 4 main Group locations in Copenhagen, Warsaw, Gdansk, and Porto as well as colleagues in our regions.

You will join the People & Culture team, Group Functions, which is a part of our Global P&C organization. We support approximately 900 Group employees in global functions such as Finance, IT, Commercial, Legal, and many others. In each of the functions, we have colleagues in a variety of positions at both executive and senior levels as well as key operational roles.

Your primary focus will be to execute a broad variety of tasks within the people experience alongside a team of P&C Generalists who work closely with P&C Business Partners, specialists from P&C centers of excellence, and business leaders.

We will rely on you to perform many activities related to hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes, e.g., supporting the onboarding process, updating systems in case of changes to the organizational structure and reporting lines, supporting employer branding activities, providing coaching, supporting employee engagement and retention activities, supporting internal communication and development activities, keeping core processes like exit interviews going, and ensuring the data flows to relevant recipients.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Be the 1st line support for our customers (candidates, employees, and managers) to answer questions or requests related to policies, benefits, processes, or systems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for leaders to ensure the right capabilities and culture in our teams. As a business partner, you secure the professional deployment of key ISS P&C concepts and processes from P&C Centers of Excellence on site, and you deliver relevant team development activities.
  • Act as an expert in labor law and social security regulations and provide advice in individual case handling.
  • Provide P&C systems user support.
  • Support managers in providing hiring proposals for our REMCO committees and drive the hiring process in collaboration with hiring managers and our Group Talent Acquisition Team in Warsaw.
  • Work closely with the Group Talent Acquisition team on Employer Branding initiatives.
  • Participate in change management and continuous improvement initiatives, proposing solutions from an HR perspective.
  • Track and implement performance and talent reviews to align with company objectives.
  • Monitor periodically and proactively engage on HR topics affecting employee satisfaction, motivation, succession planning, and professional development.
  • Ensure employees receive core management/relevant training and support where required and according to their professional goals.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Min. 2 years of experience in HR/P&C Business Partnering in an international company, SSC.
  • Good knowledge of Polish labor law regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience with HR Systems, i.e., Success Factors, Workday, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially good knowledge of Excel).
  • Being structured, diligent, productive, well-organized, and enthusiastic.
  • Experience in enhancing various processes according to internal stakeholders needs (nice to have).
