Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Junior IT Network Specialist with at least 1 year of professional experience. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Entra ID, firewalls (both traditional Palo Alto appliances and cloud-based), VPNs/SD-WAN, and basic networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, and LAN. Additionally, familiarity with load balancing and hosting platforms like VMware, Pure Storage, and Azure cloud is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network and Identity Services: Ensure the alignment of identity and network services (Microsoft Azure and on premises) with the Firms evolving standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to facilitate knowledge transfer from Engineers and Architects to the Internal Client Experience team and Country IT personnel.
  • Technical Integration: Persuade and coordinate with colleagues to ensure successful technical integration and maintain the security and performance of identity and network services.
  • Regional Focus: Responsible for managing infrastructure in the EMEA region, covering Europe, the UK, and the Middle East, ensuring alignment with Firm standards.

Requirements

  • Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Networking Protocols: Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, and LAN.
  • Firewalls and VPNs: Experience with traditional Palo Alto appliances, cloud firewalls, and VPNs/SD-WAN.
  • Identity Services: Knowledge of Entra ID and its applications.
  • Hosting Platforms: Familiarity with VMware, Pure Storage, and Azure cloud.
  • Load Balancing: Basic knowledge of load balancing concepts and technologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with other team members and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Persuasion and Coordination: Skilled in persuading colleagues to ensure successful integration and alignment of network services.
  • Regional Management: Capable of managing responsibilities across multiple regions, with a focus on the EMEA region.
  • Qualifications:
  • 1 year of relevant professional experience in IT networking.
  • Foundational knowledge in the specified technologies and platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving standards and best practices.
