Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Network Automation Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. You will be passionate about automating network operations and eager to learn and grow within the field. This role is perfect for someone who succeeds in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a significant impact on our network efficiency.

You will report to the Senior IT Manager located in the USA and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of network automation solutions to streamline our network operations.
• Collaborate with senior network engineers to design and deploy scalable network architectures.
• Write and maintain scripts for network automation, configuration management, and network monitoring.
• Participate in the testing and integration of new software and hardware.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve network issues through automated processes.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in network technologies and automation tools.
• Document network automation processes and maintain a knowledge base.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a network engineering role.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.) and network infrastructure devices.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
