For one of our Clients, a recognized company in the technology sector we are looking for a Junior/Mid GL Accountant

What we expect

• Univeristy degree in accounting, finance or related firld (or in progress),
• Experience in general ledger accounting, or similar will be a strong advantage,
• Understanding accounting standards,
• Knowledge of ERP systems,
• Analitycal mindset and willingness to learn,
• Team spirit and good organizational skills,
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills,
• Fluent English and Polish including professional vocabulary,
• Other language will be advantage (German/Italian/French),
• Availability for full office work.

Your tasks

• Assist in entering financial data into the general ledger (e.g. accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis),
• Prepare standard reports and support month-end closing activities,
• Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct and investigate discrepancies,
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger,
• Gather supporting documentation and perform record keeping,
• Support preparation of statutory statements, statutory and internal audits,
• Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting,
