Junior Logistics Specialist
Hudson Talent Solutions, on behalf of our global chemical manufacturing client, is seeking a Junior Logistics Specialist. The client offers a hybrid working model with the office located in Warsaw, Poland.
About the Role
As a Junior Logistics Specialist in a chemical manufacturing company, your primary responsibility is to ensure efficient and compliant execution of logistics operations within external warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the receipt of materials from external and internal sources.
- Process inbound deliveries in SAP and ensure accurate goods receipt postings.
- Communicate with internal and external partners to resolve discrepancies or delays.
- Manage order fulfillment and shipping activities to internal and external destinations for finished products.
- Oversee transportation planning and scheduling.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery confirmations through SAP and EDI channels.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by monitoring and reconciling stock movements in SAP.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
- Support regular stock counts and cycle counting activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related errors or failed transmissions in collaboration with IT and service providers.
- Work closely with internal departments: Planning, Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, EHS, and others.
Qualifications
- Educational background in logistics, supply chain, or related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Quick learner with a strong willingness to grow and develop within a dynamic logistics environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse or supply chain processes (nice to have, not required).
- Proficient with systems; experience with ERP tools (SAP is a plus) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and ability to work with data.
- Self-driven approach with the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek support or escalations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Fluency in Polish and English (both required); knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage but not essential.
- Based in Warsaw or able to work from the Warsaw location.
- Willingness to travel during the training period.
