Eligibility and Program Details

iMove, the Opella VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU plus Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

NOTE: Since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

NOTE: Applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Opella worldwide.

Junior Lawyer - VIE Contract (W or M)

Context

Within the Opella Legal Department, you will be able to support on various subjects in multitasking in a dynamic environment and to understand the functioning of an international industrial group in particular within the Central Eastern Europe Zone: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in drafting and analysis of all types of contracts
  • Advise the subsidiary departments in all areas of law in particular economic law, commercial law, competition law, pharmaceutical liability, health law, personal data protection
  • Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of pre‑litigation and litigation actions both offensively and defensively
  • Participate in the preparation and drafting of training materials: develop and lead training and awareness‑raising activities on legal topics related to the activities of the companies in the CEE region as well as, if applicable, subsequent risks
  • Provide support to operational aspects in the implementation of innovative projects throughout the CEE region
  • Participate in simplifying procedures and contract and/or legal documents
  • Take part in active legal monitoring on legal news and news regulation

About You

  • Experience: Previous experience in business environments (1 to 3 years)
  • Soft skills: Autonomous, Good relationship sense, Enjoy working as a team, Curiosity for new tasks and projects, Flexibility and Availability.
  • Technical skills: Analysis ability, Microsoft Office software knowledge

Education

Master’s Degree in International Business Law, Diploma Lawyer Works Council (DJCE) type University, School of Lawyer, School of Training of the Bar
