We are expanding our teams in the defense sector to take on Frontex projects.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will provide support to several projects for a European institution, concerning security and border control activities (FRONTEX).

 Responsibilities:

• Create the design, development and delivery of software components
• Provide input as part of a dedicated scrum team for the development of features and services
• Provide 3rd line support regarding bugs, or other development issues
• Maintain parts of the entire codebase (Database, Model, UI, extensions etc.)

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for a talented Junior Java engineer that wants to further develop in the Java programming domain. For this position you should have:

• MSc education degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering (PhD is a plus)
• At least 2 years of experience working as a java developer
• Participated in the complete lifecycle of two solutions
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
• Knowledge of application servers (JBoss),
• Knowledge of UML
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile
• High communication skills in English (in reading and in writing, minimum B2, as English is the working language)

We will also value:

• Experience in Linux, Maven, Git, Jasper Reports, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Junit, Arquillian, Web Services
• Experience in MS Azure DevOps
• Experience in Red Hat OpenShift
• Integrated Development Environments(IntelliJ IDEA)
