We invite a proactive and self-reliant Test Engineer Automation to join our team and work with one of the top Point-of-Sale vendors featuring 100,000 installations globally. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the quality and reliability of the client’s software products by working closely with the multinational development team to design and execute automated tests using innovative tools and frameworks.

Is that you?

• 1+ years automation testing experience
• Knowledge of Python, Pytest
• Experience with test automation in Python; skilled at using the Pytest framework
• Experience working with MongoDB (optional)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and automation tools like Jenkins,
• Docker experience; knowledge of popular container orchestration tools
• Familiarity with Microservices testing and related tools and strategies
• Basic knowledge of AWS services
• Ability to work with complex testing documentation and quickly adopt and apply new information
• Ability to organize work time efficiently
• Familiarity with the various AWS services and ecosystem components
• Understanding of the Elasticsearch search engine and its related tools and components

Key responsibilities and your contribution

As Test Engineer Automation, you’ll play an important part in the development process, with responsibilities including test planning, test case design, and test automation using industry-leading tools and frameworks.

• Automate testing processes using Python, create and update automation tests
• Set up test environments; prepare test data; obtain and clarify requirements as necessary
• Automate tests for new features
• Analyze, document, and report test results; maintain test-related documentation
• Make adjustments needed to perform UI testing
• Keep up with advancements in test automation technologies
• Communicate regularly with the dev team and other units located internationally
