We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior GL Accountant to join our financial team in Warsaw. The Junior GL Accountant is an entry-level position responsible for supporting financial operations, maintaining accurate records, assisting with preparing and analyzing financial records, compliance tasks and various accounting tasks under supervision.

This role requires a structured and detail-oriented finance professional with experience in GL processes, financial reporting, and tax compliance within an international or shared service environment.

As a Junior GL Accountant you will be part of the Nordic and Polish team accountants. Your main responsibilities will include all activities relating to day‑to‑day accounting topics in the area of GL accounting.

Location: Poland (hybrid Warsaw or remote)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Perform Accounts Payable operations: posting standard accounting documents, i.e.: Opex, FA, internal documents.
• Reconcile and post travel expenses and master cards settlements
• Support daily record‑to‑report and month‑end closing tasks
• Assisting with internal and external reports preparation (various monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and statistical reports) ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Assisting with GL accounts reconciliation
• Cooperate with team stakeholders providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Min. 2 years’ equivalent combination of experience and education accepted.
• English at professional proficiency, having Nordic language will be a plus.
• Maintain high discipline and structure when working with financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting processes.
• Possess strong attention to detail while maintaining a clear overview of financial transactions and reporting requirements.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a growth mindset, quickly learning new processes, systems, and regulatory requirements in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of Business Central program will be a plus
