Junior Generalist, Human Resources DACHPO at Energizer Holdings. This role provides HR support for the DACHPO region and contributes to HR administration, processes, and policy guidance.
Position Summary
Junior Generalist, Human Resources, DACHPO is responsible for providing human resources support to Manager, Human Resources, DACHPO & IDM for Germany, Switzerland and Poland. This includes a range of generalist HR administration, supporting HR processes from an operational point of view, counselling and initial recommendations regarding labour law in DACH, communications and policies, and contribution to internal projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist and support Manager, HR DACHPO&IDM with smooth delivery of services for the assigned region.
- Be the first point of contact for the local DACH team.
- Ensure completion of all HR administrative activities and HR operational processes.
- Oversee smooth Employee Lifecycle actions including Recruiting and Onboarding activities in line with the global model.
- Understand, advise and explain payroll topics & pension programmes via smooth cooperation with the responsible Payroll Specialist (e.g. preparatory payroll, termination processes).
- Support developing specific local HR policies based on market regulation / legislation for DACH.
- Support to consult on legal compliance and mitigate the Company’s risk by having a basic understanding of relevant DACH employment laws; assist in preparing employment contracts, amendments, termination letters and settlements as per approved tasks.
- Facilitate contact with local authorities and deliver agreed materials for external audits.
- Promote the role of Human Resources and enhance the credibility of the function; collaborate with HR team members to proactively share best practices and processes.
- Provide support to local office vendors and HSE.
- Contribute to projects in international HR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Human Resources, Business or another relevant field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in operational HR.
- Profound knowledge of HR administration and German labour law as well as solid German payroll knowledge (Arbeits- und Sozialversicherungsrecht); first experience in managing pension could be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Polish, German and English would be an additional asset.
- Structured and independent working style, self-determined and hands-on mentality.
- MS Office skills.
