Junior Full Stack Developer - German Team

What does the team do?

Our Tax Technology team deals with creating and implementing advanced IT solutions that support a wide range of tax calculation processes. They are related mainly to international personal income taxes (GMS – Global Mobility Services) and management of human resources. We are localized in Germany as well as in Poland. At the moment, we are looking for candidates with passion, who would like to join our rapidly growing team of programmers in Warsaw. In our daily work, we are focused on creating safe, innovative and ergonomic solutions that join specific business knowledge with new technologies. We support many world-wide corporations which appreciate the highest level of services we deliver.

Your daily duties will include:

1. Creating and implementing modern business applications according to business and technical specifications (main responsibility).
2. Providing post-implementation services (maintenance) and creating new functionalities for already existing modules.
3. Keeping project documentation up to date.
4. Providing support to end-users (advice, guidance, assistance, and training).
5. Participation in deployment processes as well as cooperating with end-users in terms of ongoing problem solving of their business-related issues.

We expect:

1. University degree (Bachelor or Master) or a student of the last years of their studies.
2. Basic knowledge about object-oriented programming (preferred C# language and .NET framework).
3. Basic knowledge about SQL databases (preferred MS SQL Server).
4. Basic knowledge about Angular 2+, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
5. Very good English language skills enabling reading technical documentation and smooth communication with team members.
6. Analytical thinking, positive energy, proactivity, and a “can do” attitude.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team as well as in a scattered environment.

Nice to have:

1. Familiarity with GIT version control systems.
2. Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
3. Familiarity with design patterns and ability to use them in practice.
4. Familiarity with Scrum and agile methodologies.
