British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Manager in Warsaw.

As part of the Global IT Finance Team, this role will provide financial business partnering to support the implementation of the IDT Strategy. The role involves delivering accurate financial data and analysis on the function’s performance to various stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting regions with financials, budgeting, and tools such as Planisware and BPC.
  2. Assisting Regional Finance Business Partners in ensuring data accuracy and providing actionable insights.
  3. Maintaining accurate cost centre data through journal management, intercompany recharges, and GL adjustments.
  4. Creating dashboards for budget tracking and forecasting at the cost center level.
  5. Leading financial forecasting cycles and conducting in-depth analysis.
  6. Preparing financial presentation materials for senior management.
  7. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and supporting project/business case evaluations.
  8. Ensuring compliance with SOX, managing intercompany transactions, and supporting procurement processes.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree or equivalent experience; professional accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience required; IT or tech environment experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of group and project accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of intercompany recharges and CAT’s time system.
  • Proactive approach to process and reporting improvements.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and influential in partner interactions.
  • Strong communication skills to support stakeholders.
