Junior Electrical Engineer (Battery Pack Development/R&D/E-Mobility)

Qualifications
- Student of the last year of master’s degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering or a similar field of study.
- Recently graduated MSC engineer or student of last year of MSc degree, or 0–3 years of working experience in the field.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week or full time.
- Experience in mechanical design for electrical and electronic components.
- Ideally experience with design of electric machines & power electronic modules (e.g., power supply units, inverters, DC‑DC converters) and integration of electric machines.
- Know‑how of developing electronic components and systems within automotive or similar industries.
- Knowledge of automotive electronic standards such as IEC 60664, ISO 6469 is an advantage.
- Experience with MS Office, E/E development tools (PREEvision, EA, Cameo) or requirements‑management tools (DOORS, Polarion, PTC Integrity, inStep).
- A structured way of working; team player and strong communicator.
- Very good English skills – written and spoken.
Tasks
- Creation of electric and electromechanical concepts and schemes for the packaging of electronic and electrical components for use in traction batteries for automotive, commercial and special applications.
- Carry the process responsibility from concept to series development according to the product development process.
- Liaise with customers to agree the mechanical interface and performance details; comply with customers’ demands and standards.
- Prepare and reconcile the project documents (e.g., specifications, schedule, status reports, etc.).
- Communicate with customer as well as supplier technical details of electromechanical system.
