Coding challenge If there is potential for a match, we’ll invite you to solve a few programming tasks on the Coderbyte platform. You’ll have around a week’s time to complete them.

Phone call If your solutions meet our criteria, we’ll invite you for a brief phone call with Julia about your professional experience. 

Lets chat If your solutions meet our criteria, we’ll invite you for a ~40 min remote chat with Julia and one of our developers, to get to know you a bit better and discuss your programming tasks.

Final interview Should all go well, we’ll meet for the final step which is a 2,5h interview in our office with two developers from u2i. It will be divided into two parts. First, we’d love to hear more about your experience, and tell you a bit more about u2i. After a short break, we’ll jump into the technical part where you’ll have the chance to truly show off your skills.

Feedback & final decision Regardless of our decision, we will make sure that you receive timely feedback during each stage of the process. If it turns out that were a great match for each other then welcome to u2i! Well be happy to start your onboarding shortly

Hi! We’re on the lookout for a (Not just a) Junior Developer to join our team of ~60 problem-solvers in creating great products hand in hand with our abroad-based Clients. But most importantly, we hope to find a true colleague and friend who’ll enjoy facing everyday challenges, striving for technical excellence, and growing together. Full-time or a part-time engagement of min. 24h/week

We might be a great match if you have:

Experience:

  • 0.5+ years in software development
  • Degree in IT/Computer Science or are at least a 3rd-year student
  • B2+ English proficiency for daily communication

Skills:

  • Knowledge of at least one programming language for web development: Tech Stack: Python, Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Javascript  
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
  • Problem-solving and ability to diagnose and propose solutions
  • Clean code practices and quality-focused mindset
  • Basic understanding of algorithms and data structures

Work Authorization:

  • Valid work permit in Poland

And you are:

  • Eager to develop complete solutions and consulting skills
  • A great communicator, self-driven learner, and open to new technologies
  • Courageous, flexible, and comfortable working on both front-end and back-end
  • A team player ready to take responsibility and propose improvements

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of web app tools and designs
  • Understanding of Agile/Lean methodologies
  • Experience working directly with clients, especially US-based.
