Role Overview:

Content moderators serve as an important line of defense by helping improve the quality and safety of online content while gaining hands-on job experience. You will deliver value to our clients while making a larger impact on society. Content Moderators help create a safe and inclusive community by minimizing bad experiences online, contributing to the protection of vulnerable community members and groups.

We are looking for candidates with familiarity and passion for the internet, internet platforms, and internet culture. You will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing user profiles, audio, videos, and text-based content, as well as investigating, escalating, and resolving issues reported by users or flagged by the system. Due to the nature of the role, you may be exposed to flashing lights or contrasting light and dark patterns.

What will you do?

1. Review, classify and/or remove content according to client guidelines, using specific tools and channels.
2. Understand and remain updated on changing client policies and guidelines.
3. Investigate, resolve, and relay complex content issues to the broader Trust and Safety team.
4. Serve as an advocate for the user community.
5. Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance quality and efficiency of work.
6. Engage in conversations around socially sensitive topics to keep our communities safe.

Basic Qualifications/Skills Needed:

1. Strong coping, emotional resilience, and stress-management skills.
2. Excellent comprehension and communication skills in English and Dutch.
3. Ability to perform duties objectively, devoid of inherent biases or personal beliefs, in the best interest of client policies.
4. Strong attention to detail.
5. Comfort synthesizing and analyzing information from multiple streams.
6. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
7. Deep familiarity and passion for the internet, internet platforms, and internet culture.
8. High affinity and cultural awareness of political and social situations regarding the relevant market and region.
9. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
10. Flexibility in meeting changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
11. Commitment to quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
12. Previous business process outsourcing, customer service, or content moderation experience is a plus.
13. Willingness to work on a rotating schedule across a 7-day work week - morning and evening shifts, depending on project needs.
14. Willingness to work in a hybrid mode (50% from the office in Warsaw).
