Job Description

Circle K Business Centre is a shared service center which supports Circle K Europe operations through a wide range of services within Finance & Control, Information Technologies, Human Resources, Transport Fuel and Customer Service.

Join one of our software development teams and work on innovative solutions in electromobility, B2B applications and loyalty programs. As a valuable team member, youll engage in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and execution to review.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and implement best practices in software development by contributing to the creation of new features and functionalities, guided by experienced developers.
• Participate in code reviews and discussions to improve code quality and foster collaboration.
• Acquire knowledge of a distributed microservice environment, a fundamental architecture in our software development.
• Take pride in your code making a tangible impact on real-world solutions for our global customers.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Java programming language
• Basic knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE clauses)
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to Have, But Not Required:

• Experience with the Spring framework
• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of Clean Code principles
• Basic familiarity with Docker and its applications
