About the department

Accounts Receivable Customer Ledger department supports Coloplast entities across the globe in ensuring that Customer Accounts are up to date. We are a group of almost 20 people that prepare dunning letters & customer statements, deliver aging reports, support debt collection, and continuously work on improving Accounts Receivable processes. Accounts Receivable is part of Global Finance Support located in Szczecin.



About the job

We are looking for a person for a currently created position to support one of our projects. The employee will closely cooperate with our Collection team and different teams in the Local unit. The new employee will be responsible for working with data, providing correct reporting, improving processes, and working on automation. This position will also require regular meetings with the Local unit and external Customers, keeping a good track and overview of open receivables, and reporting AR key finance indicators to the Team Leader and relevant Business Stakeholders.



Currently, we are looking for a new colleague for a temporary contract (approx. 12 months) with the possibility to be prolonged.



Responsibilities

  1. Performing analysis and overview of receivables accounts
  2. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and insights
  3. Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly
  4. Possibility of working on new process and its establishment
  5. Work closely with internal teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights
  6. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
  7. Develop models/financial reports and prepare key finance indicators related to the project
  8. GL reporting
  9. Be point of contact to resolve customer inquiries
  10. Control over Order to Cash process
  11. Monitoring all aspects of the collection of outstanding debts owed to the company to ensure it is well within control
  12. Performing matchings on customer accounts based on own investigation and on LOB request
  13. Supporting Collection team if needed


Requirements

  1. Good written and verbal English skills
  2. Very good analytical skills
  3. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economy, Business Management or similar
  4. Experience in a transactional role within Accountancy/Finance area with direct exposure to Customers
  5. Very good experience in Excel
  6. Data entry skills – comfortable user of ERP systems and spreadsheets
  7. Experience in Customer Service role will be an additional benefit
  8. Availability to work until afternoon hours (one day per week)
