About the role
We are looking for a motivated (Junior) AR Accountant with Czech to join our client international finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for AR operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of incoming payments.
Key responsibilities
- Posting and allocating incoming payments to customer accounts
- Monitoring overdue balances and ensuring timely collections
- Contacting Czech‑speaking customers regarding outstanding invoices (via email and phone)
- Supporting the cash application and payment identification process
- Preparing AR reports and supporting month‑end closing activities
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and SOX requirements
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Fluency in Czech (minimum B2 level) – mandatory
- Good command of English (B1/B2 level)
- Previous experience in AR / Finance / Customer Service would be an asset
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems will be a plus
