Junior application specialist

Your responsibilities

• Conduct/develop laboratory application tests in order to evaluate samples, solve application process problems, or make recommendations to customers for products and/or process improvements.
• Assist with new adhesive product trials to support product introductions.
• Conduct tear down test for customers’ product.
• Communicate with customers, collect feedback and report to sales team and R&D team.
• Provide basic adhesive application training according to customer needs.
• Handle common technical issues based on company technical materials or processes.

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry.
• At least 1-3 years of technical experience ideally obtained in the hygiene hotmelt adhesive industry or other hotmelt adhesive industries, such as end-of-line packaging industry.
• Knowledge of the adhesives, production lines, glue applicators is an advantage.
• Ability to evaluate and optimize customer processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of adhesive test methods and equipment is an advantage.
• Strong learning ability and teamwork spirit.
• Able to work in international environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in lab, and plant situations.
• Intermediate knowledge of English, both speaking and writing.
