Application Support mission is to provide technical and functional support to users of the banks several applications. In this role you will provide support to users requests; incident, problem, and change management; coordination with other levels of support (BAs, Devs, QA, IT Engineers). In addition, it will be required to provide feedback to user and communicate on issue resolution.

Junior Application Production Support Officer

Requirements:

• SQL - ability to write simple to intermediate queries (understanding different types of JOINs and basic aggregate functions)
• Unix/Linux - familiarity with the terminal with focus on file operations (ability to read/search log files, locating and modifying text files)
• ITSM: Basic understanding of ITIL best practices - Service Request and Incident management processes, Service Now experience would be an asset
• Functional: Fund Industry / Transfer Agent would be an asset
• Languages: English mandatory

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to users of the systems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor system health and process stability
• React to alerts raised by monitoring systems
• Build and maintain knowledge base regarding support issues and their resolution.
• Build working knowledge of the systems and business area in order to provide high level of support.
• Handle performance related issues in applications.
• Handle requests for specific actions (data extraction, ad-hoc report creation...)
