In order to provide the best value for our operational sites and customers, Rhenus is building a strong internal WMS organization. This organization will consist of a central BY WMS Competence Center (CC) and Regional Implementation Centers, which will work together with Blue Yonder CC and other internal and external partners.

We are currently looking for talents to join our global IT structures in Warehousing Solution Business Unit, who will work from our office in Warsaw, Poland
responsibilities :
Manage the lifecycle of applications within the WMS area
Installation/Patching/Upgrading of Blue Yonder WMS according to internal standards and guidelines
Constantly checking of system status to ensure availability and health of the application
Rollout of self-created modifications/developments after successful testing
Investigate and solve problem reports (technical support-tickets):
- Monitor application performance
- Run automated test-scenarios
- Exchange with key-users of Blue Yonder WMS application at Rhenus to:
- solve critical situations within monitored status
- plan maintenance
- exchange on testing and test-results for software-update
Exchange with Group IT for hardware and special services support
requirements-expected :
Ideally a university degree in Computer Science or similar.
Some years of professional experience in IT (see technical skills)
Technical skills:
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Windows operating systems, client/server technology- PLSQL, SQL and database understanding (structure and concepts) in general
- Script languages like Python, Perl, PowerShell
General understanding of wider system landscape and their dependencies
Ability to communicate across all levels of the business and IT
Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivating
Strong English skills
