Job Description

How You’re Going to Contribute:

By joining the finance team as a Junior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day financial operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accounting documentation is handled accurately, on time, and in compliance with both internal and external requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing accounting entries such as supplier bills, customer invoices, employee expenses, and payments. Collaborating with other departments in the execution of these tasks.
  • Analyzing and verifying ledger entries and reconciling bank, supplier, and customer balances.
  • Communicating with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Participating in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
  • Assisting senior accountants and the team leader in preparing monthly reports.
  • Working with other departments to provide the information they need (e.g., supporting buyers in the procurement process, assisting employees with expense reports, and collaborating with local finance team on accounting information).
  • Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve processes.

Qualifications

We’re Looking For:

  • 2 years working in a similar role
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics is expected, and an additional Master’s degree or accounting certification is preferred.
  • An understanding the fundamental principles of accounting
  • Experience working on ERP finance applications
  • Microsoft skills (Excel is a must)
  • You want to learn, develop yourself, actively propose improvements, and you’re meticulous. Like Sherlock Holmes, you are sensitive to even the smallest detail!
  • Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish (B2)

Location: This is a hybrid position, with 2–3 days of remote work per week (must be prepared to increase office days during busy periods). The office is located in Warsaw, in the Wola district.
