Job Description

How You’ll Contribute

As a Junior Accountant in our finance team, you’ll play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day financial operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accounting documentation is handled accurately, on time, and in compliance with both internal and external requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounting entries such as supplier bills, customer invoices, employee expenses, and payments, collaborating with other departments.
  • Analyze and verify ledger entries and reconcile bank, supplier, and customer balances.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
  • Assist senior accountants and the team leader in preparing monthly reports.
  • Work with other departments to provide the information they need (e.g., supporting buyers in the procurement process, assisting employees with expense reports, and collaborating with local finance team on accounting information).
  • Identify and implement initiatives to improve processes.

Qualifications

  • 2 years working in a similar role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics is expected; a Master’s degree or accounting certification is preferred.
  • An understanding of the fundamental principles of accounting.
  • Experience working on ERP finance applications.
  • Microsoft skills (Excel is a must).
  • You want to learn, develop yourself, actively propose improvements, and are meticulous. Like Sherlock Holmes, you are sensitive to even the smallest detail!
  • Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish (B2+).

Location

This is a hybrid position, with 2–3 days of remote work per week (must be prepared to increase office days during busy periods). The office is located in Warsaw, in the Wola district.
