Are you starting your career in finance, accounting, or investment operations? Join our client team as a Junior Fund Accountant and support the daily accounting and lifecycle management of bank loan positions within investment funds. This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop strong technical skills, and grow within a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily activities related to bank loan lifecycle management (settlements, funding, interest accruals, paydowns, amendments, fees).
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations; investigate and escalate differences.
- Prepare transaction uploads and ensure accuracy, tie-outs, and clear audit trails.
- Assist with month-end/quarter-end close processes and control certifications.
- Maintain checklists, SOPs, and control documentation.
- Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, NAV Operations, Custody, Loan Administration, Compliance, and Technology teams.
- Contribute to process improvements, data quality checks, and simple automation (mainly in Excel).
- Support ad hoc requests, audits, and workflow/system enhancements.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Math
0–3 years of experience (internships welcome)
Solid Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
Strong attention to detail and organisational discipline
Ability to work to daily deadlines in a dynamic environment
Clear, professional communication and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience in asset servicing, fund accounting, or securities operations
- Knowledge of accounting principles or investment fund mechanics
- Familiarity with accounting systems (Solvas is a plus)
- Interest in CPA or other professional certification
