We are looking for a Java Test Engineer to join a small, well-organized team (up to 4 engineers) working in a SAFe environment. The role focuses on extending an existing regression test pack, developing new automated solutions, and enhancing the current testing framework. You will work on modern web applications built with Angular on the front end and Java on the back end, contributing to high-quality software delivery.
responsibilities :
Development and maintenance of automated API tests using Java
Creation of GUI automated tests using Playwright
Migration of automated test suites from Cypress to Playwright
Design and specification of test cases based on requirements
Execution of manual test scenarios on desktop and mobile devices
Running and monitoring of automated test pipelines in Jenkins
Cooperation within a SAFe-based agile team
Analysis and reporting of test results and defects
requirements-expected :
At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
Practical background in automated and manual API testing
Familiarity with Cypress and Playwright automation frameworks
Programming skills in Java and JavaScript
Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent)
Analytical thinking and structured problem analysis
Ability to work with Gherkin-based test scenarios
Participation in agile delivery processes, particularly Scrum
Communicative command of the English language
