We seek an experienced Java Tech Leader to lead and coach the team of 30 developers and actively participate in designing full-stack architecture. This role requires a business mindset, strong leadership, proactivity, and technical skills. Java Technical Leader will drive the development and closely cooperate with the architect and project manager to deliver transformation solutions for clients in the DACH region across different branches like energy, insurance, or public.

Project scope:
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications based on Java technology
- Collaborating with software architects to define technological strategies and implement best-in-class solutions
- Leading a development team, supporting them in daily tasks, and ensuring the quality of delivered solutions
- Mentoring team members and supporting their professional growth
- Actively participating in technical decision-making, sprint planning, and backlog management
- Working closely with management to develop the department and expand the project portfolio
Requirements:
- At least 7 years in Java software development (Spring, Spring Boot, microservices & related technologies) and any experience in the role of Technical Leader or Team Leader
- Experience or willingness to learn frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, VueJS)
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure or AWS)
- Strong understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), SQL, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate)
- Experience in developing web applications and REST APIs, including Swagger documentation
- Ability to apply design patterns effectively
- Familiarity with containerization tools Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket
- Acquaintance with message broker tools, e.g., ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ is nice to have
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proactivity, readiness to share and apply technological advancements (AI, data, cybersecurity)
- German and English language proficiency at B2 level
- Remote work with occasional visits to the office in Gliwice (up to 3 times per month)
