About the Backend Engineering Team: Our Backend Engineering team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness, speed, and security of our trading platform. Dedicated to enhancing performance, providing a best-in-class user experience, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding data, the teams efforts directly impact our ability to offer clients a seamless and secure trading journey.

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with specific experience in Metatrader to join our growing team. As a Metatrader Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the backend systems that power our trading platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, with a focus on enhancing the performance and user experience for our clients.

Experience & Domain Knowledge Requirements:

1. Backend: Strong understanding of distributed applications and client-server model
2. Financial Applications Proficiency: Experience in FinTech, Banking, or similar areas is a must
3. Scalability Technologies: Knowledge about technologies that allow for platform scaling to handle sudden influxes of user activities or transactions
4. High-Performance Platforms: Experience in designing, building, and optimising high-performance systems is a plus
5. Security: Knowledge of potential threats and security measures for transactional data is a plus.

Technical Skills Requirements:

1. MetaTrader: Advanced proficiency in MetaTrader platform development and integration
2. Java and Spring: Strong experience with Java core and knowledge of the Spring framework
3. Database Mastery: Strong SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL)
4. Asynchronous Programming: Advanced understanding and hands-on experience
5. Version Control & Development Practices: Proficiency in Git Flow and XP practices
6. Operational Proficiency: Understanding and hands-on experience with ops activities, Kubernetes, pipelines, and deployment strategies
7. Cloud Platforms: Basic knowledge of resources and use cases for AWS, Azure, and GCP
8. Events streaming: Kafka (or similar solution) knowledge is a plus
9. JVM Optimisation: Knowledge of JVM performance optimization practices is a plus.

Soft Skills Requirements:

1. Communication: Effective communication skills, especially with teams responsible for security, operations and product
2. Analytical thinking: Ability to tackle and investigate complicated problems and convert it to the task
