We are looking for a talented Java/Kotlin Backend Developer to join our team, working on an advanced policy management system for the insurance sector. This system is designed to streamline policy lifecycle management, enhance customer experience, and support key business operations within the industry. Our project prioritises robust, scalable backend solutions, adhering to best practices in both backend development and DevOps to ensure a reliable, high-performance platform that meets the industry’s evolving needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a policy management system using Java/Kotlin technology.
• Build solutions that adhere to best practices within the development industry.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and by adhering to coding standards.
• Collaborate with team members throughout the deployment process to ensure smooth delivery and integration.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience in backend development.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Spring Boot, Java, GIT, SQL, REST, and SOAP.
• Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Prometheus.
• Software Development Process: Interested in contributing to the entire software lifecycle—from requirements gathering and analysis to development, maintenance, and support.
• Ownership & Responsibility: Strong sense of responsibility for your own applications and the team’s deliverables.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
• Personal Traits: Self-motivated, communicative, and adaptable to evolving conditions and technological changes.
• Work in a multilingual, multinational, and multicultural environment on international projects.
