This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the office in Kraków, Poland. The candidate must visit the Client office in Warsaw 2-4 times a year for planning purposes.
responsibilities :
Design, implement, and maintain Java-based software and applications, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle
Analyze user requirements, envision system features, and select optimal solutions
Implement and monitor web service/middleware applications using backend clusters in the search application architecture
Engineer components and common services based on standard corporate development models, languages, and tools
Follow software engineering best practices and utilize automation for efficient solution delivery
Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
requirements-expected :
2+ years of experience in Java and regular Java tech stack
Hands-on experience with JavaScript, (S)CSS, HTML
Proficiency in React, TypeScript, RxJS
Understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle
Good communication skills and proactiveness
Experience in implementing a reliable system
Proficiency in Spring framework
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Understanding of REST architecture
Experience with unit testing (JUnit5, Mockito)
Willingness to attend meetings between 5 pm and 7 pm each day
