What you will do

1. Enhance usability, quality, and feature set for our Records Management System (RMS) and Booking products.
2. Design and build a reusable client integration system following secure cloud software best practices (from start to finish).
3. Collaborate with design and product teams to gather requirements, estimate tasks, plan sprints, and deliver on schedule.
4. Plan and estimate construction and delivery timelines with accuracy.
5. Contribute to technical documentation and automate build and deployment processes to improve engineering efficiency.
6. Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding for new team members.
7. Review code submitted by other software engineers, and submit your own code for review as part of our pull-request deployment process.

Must haves

1. 4+ years of experience in software development for technology companies.
2. 3+ years of experience building software in the cloud (AWS preferred).
3. High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
4. Knowledge of and/or prior experience with microservices architecture.
5. DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
6. Direct experience in technical product ownership – building complex features from start to finish.
7. Demonstrated experience improving stability, performance, and scalability of complex software platforms and products.
8. Self-motivated, passionate, and excited to build and own products from end to end.
9. A proven ability to meet deadlines, motivate others, and consistently produce high-quality, impactful results.
