What you will do:

1. Enhance usability, quality, and feature set for our Records Management System (RMS) and Booking products;
2. Design and build a reusable client integration system following secure cloud software best practices (from start to finish);
3. Collaborate with design and product teams to gather requirements, estimate tasks, plan sprints, and deliver on schedule;
4. Plan and estimate construction and delivery timelines with accuracy;
5. Contribute to technical documentation and automate build and deployment processes to improve engineering efficiency;
6. Mentor junior engineers and support onboarding for new team members;
7. Review code submitted by other software engineers, and submit your own code for review as part of our pull-request deployment process.

Must haves:

1. 4+ years of experience in software development for technology companies;
2. 3+ years of experience building software in the cloud (AWS preferred);
3. High level of proficiency in Java and SQL;
4. Knowledge of and/or prior experience with microservices architecture;
5. DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement;
6. Direct experience in technical product ownership – building complex features from start to finish;
7. Demonstrated experience improving stability, performance, and scalability of complex software platforms and products;
8. Self-motivated, passionate, and excited to build and own products from end to end;
9. A proven ability to meet deadlines, motivate others, and consistently produce high-quality, impactful results.
