Java Engineer & Test Automation

Rate: 190–220 PLN/h (B2B)
Location: Kraków or Warsaw (hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)

About the role:

Join the team developing the Global Disbursements payment platform — a solution enabling clients to seamlessly move funds worldwide, pay suppliers, process salaries, handle tax payments, and execute transfers across multiple channels. In this role, you will build modern backend services, enhance automation testing capabilities, and support the evolution of the platform toward a scalable, API‑driven architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services and microservices using Java 11/17/21.
  • Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure high software quality.
  • Support migration from legacy systems to modern API/microservices-based solutions.
  • Contribute to increasing Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities.
  • Collaborate within Agile and DevOps-oriented teams.

  • Strong proficiency in Java 11+ (Java 17+ preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in test automation and building automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle is a plus).
  • Knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with TDD.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Previous work in a QA-focused environment.
  • Understanding of application monitoring tools.
