Your tasks

• Designing and implementing scalable Java-based systems for processing and analyzing large volumes of real-time data, using technologies like Kafka
• Developing and maintaining Java components to handle real-time data streaming in event-driven architectures
• Integrating Java applications with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, S3, EMR) and SQL databases to support big data initiatives
• Collaborating with teams responsible for platform reliability and scalability to ensure the stability of production systems
• Writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable Java code, while adopting new tools and technologies to meet evolving business requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role, with strong software engineering skills and a focus on building scalable, event-driven systems
• Proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience in SQL data stores and Kafka (or similar event-driven technologies)
• Strong experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases and designing scalable, distributed systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration in an international team
• Willingness to occasionally participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure system reliability
• Residence in Poland is required
