Opportunity Overview: As a Java Developer in the IT Consulting Services division, you will have the opportunity to work on major Guidewire/FADATA implementation projects, contributing to business insurance transformation efforts. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to develop and implement project activities, ensuring project and client goals are met. Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner and provide regular updates to the Lead. Participate in organizational initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement. Stay updated with broader finance technology trends. Skills and Attributes for Success: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Willingness to continuously learn and improve software development skills. Availability to travel for business purposes, as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level). To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have: Experience in Java development Strong understanding of JVM technologies and ecosystem, including Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate. Knowledge of coding best practices such as Clean Code and Design Patterns. Experience with SAP General Ledger (FI/CO), Tagetik, SAP FS-CD. Ideally, You’ll Also Have: Hands-on experience with Angular 5. Working experience with Kotlin.
